*1 When copying transparent documents such as tracing paper or transparencies, use a piece
of plain white paper to cover the document after placing it face-down on the platen glass.

- Do not place the document on the platen glass or in the ADF until the glue, ink or correction fluid on the document is completely dry.
- To prevent originals jamming in the ADF, do not use any of the following:

NOTA
The default paper size is A4. If you use a different paper size, you need to change the paper size settings.

- Carta molto sottile
- Paper which has been printed on using a thermal transfer printer (Do not copy on the reverse side.)
- I seguenti tipi di carta non assicurano una buona qualità di stampa:
- Carta con texture elevata
- Carta molto liscia
- Shiny paper
- Assicurarsi che la carta sia priva di polvere, lanugine e macchie di unto.
- Provare il tipo di carta prima di acquistarne grandi quantità.
- Conservare tutta la carta nell'imballaggio e su una superficie piana prima di utilizzarla. Mantenere i pacchi aperti nella confezione originale in un luogo fresco e asciutto.
- Store paper at 18oC–24oC, 40%–60% relative humidity.
- Utilizzare solo lucidi per stampanti laser. Canon recommends you to use Canon type transparencies with this machine.
